In the Beginning

As a child I was always fascinated by stories of my forebears.
My great grandmother had been born in Swan Reach. In 1984 I moved from Melbourne to East Gippsland. I began to search for my origins in the area.
I was soon hooked - and afflicted by genealogyitis!
My search has now extended world-wide. My use of computers and the internet has enabled me to link up with distant relatives I wouldn't know of in ordinary circumstances.

  1. Genealogy is a fascinating subject which can take up huge amounts of time. My mothers legacy was the "Henley" book ready to produce. i keep on looing at it and wondering where to start.
