Advent Calendar Christmas Cookies

My Mum makes the most yummy shortbread - all year round! But it was originally made at Christmas time and forms one of my earliest memories of Christmas. She also makes fruit mince pies which are very nice. Don't remember any other specific Christmas cookies as such.
